Attend an Event

We would love for you to join us for one of our regular community events!

Celebration of Learning —Our three Celebrations of Learning culminate each trimester's learning around our shared Integrated Studies Unit and are a chance for students to share and showcase a trimester's worth of project-based, inquiry-driven work. The students excitedly welcome their peers, families and friends for guided tours of their multi-media displays, interactive exhibits and documentation of their research. When:December, March, and June.

First Fridays —On the first Friday of each month, PCS classrooms are open in the morning for visits from families. There’s no agenda, no presentations, no pressure— just a chance for families to drop in, spend a little time in the classrooms, peek at some works in progress and maybe enjoy an activity. Families are important partners in children’s learning, especially at a community school, and we want you to feel at home and connected in this space. When: First Friday of each month Sept - June.

Community Coffee —Once a month, Co-Directors Liz and Kathryn host informal discussion groups with families on topics of interest to the community related to education and parenting. Past topics have included: “The Power of Play,” “Teaching Hard History,” “Reggio Emilia: Roots and Current Practices,” and “Screens and Tweens.”时间:每月,日期待定。
