As we close the door to 2021 and prepare to usher in 2022 (the second half of our 10th school year at PCS!) we, like many of you, are not quite sure what to expect. But, what we do know with certainty is that this community of children, families, friends and supporters continues to inspire us and bolster our spirits.

Because of you, and your commitment to meaningful, child-centered learning, we continue to find new ways to meet challenges, to reinvent how we teach and learn, to honor the diverse and changing needs of our students and staff, and to find joy.

As we reflect on the passing year — the rainsuits, the puddles, the skyscrapers, the hikes, the Zooms, the finger knitting, the Boxitecture, the bare feet in the sprinklers, the sing-alongs in the grass, and the van rides to the city — we see so much more than just challenges overcome or even the most thoughtful make-dos. We see a community that is truly thriving together! We see joy and connection.

We could not be more grateful to be moving into 2022 with this PCS community. You give us hope, you lift us up, and together, we will make more joy in this new year.
